One of the leaders of the "Liverpool" team, Mohamed Salah, will not be able to help the Egyptian national team in the upcoming African Cup of Nations qualifying matches.
The forward helped his team to defeat "Manchester City" in a crucial match on Sunday, but he suffered an ankle injury in the first half after a collision with Fernandinho. However, M. Salah stayed on the field and was substituted only at the end of the match.
The Egyptian was ready to help his national team and even arrived at their training camp, but the team's medical staff decided not to risk the player's health and sent him back to the club.
M. Salah's ankle troubles began in early October when he was harshly attacked by Hamza Choudhury during a match against "Leicester".
It is not yet clear how long the Egyptian will be forced to miss out on football.
