The first half belonged to Jurgen Klopp's team. The visiting team took the initiative and proved their advantage by scoring two goals.

In the 40th minute, the Egyptian scored a brace. Taking advantage of a catastrophic error by Eric Dier, the winger lifted the ball over goalkeeper Hugo Lloris with a technical shot.
The second half of the match had a different look. „Spurs“ created some dangerous moments and managed to exploit one of them in the 70th minute. Dejan Kulusevski, who came on as a substitute, delivered a pass to Harry Kane, who narrowed his team's deficit with a confident shot.
