London's "Chelsea" received a blow to the face on Wednesday in a match against "Wolves". Playing well for the first 55 minutes, the "Blues" club ultimately suffered defeat with a score of 1:2.
After the game, Maurizio Sarri couldn't find many words, surprised that the team was not able to fully recover after the first missed goal.
"We played very well for the first 55 minutes," said M. Sarri. "Then they scored a completely random goal and we became a completely different team - without proper positioning on the field and without our usual football. I don't know why it happened".
"I am very concerned. Not because we lost, but because of how we failed to react to the opponent's goal. We showed absolutely no reaction. That worries me the most.
"I don't want to talk about mistakes in the penalty area, I am most concerned about why after conceding the first goal we lost compactness and became a completely different team," added M. Sarri.
"Chelsea" increased their gap from the leaders to 10 points after the second defeat.
