Maurizio Sarri after a friendly match loss said that the Turin "Juventus" club has too many players in the squad, so both Paulo Dybala and other players can leave the team.
P. Dybala's future has been talked about all summer. "Juventus" had already agreed to sell the Argentine to "Manchester United", but the English club failed to reach an agreement with the player himself.
M. Sarri claims that he has a clear opinion about P. Dybala, but it does not affect his future.
"Sometimes I am shocked by what I read in the newspapers. You write about Sarri and Paratici's choices. Have you looked at our squad? We have to exclude six names from the current players' list in order to fit into the Champions League registration. I haven't seen anything written about it," said M. Sarri.
"We have to exclude six players from the list, which really puts me in an uncomfortable situation. The last 20 days of the transfer window will be difficult. It's a very uncomfortable situation because we are forced to let go of very high-level players.
This is a situation that we have to resolve, not a decision that the coach or the club simply makes," continued the Italian.
Speaking about P. Dybala himself, who is still linked with a departure, even though the transfer window has already closed in England, M. Sarri said: "Dybala has had only a few training sessions with us, so it's normal that he is not in the best physical condition. This has somewhat hindered his ability to play in the false number 9 position.
I think he can play in this role, but we have to see if we can set up the team offensively according to this decision.
I can talk as much as I want about Paulo, but the transfer window goes in one direction and my opinion has no significance here. We have to part with these players and we can no longer change that.
I would like to keep all the players, but our main problem is that we don't have any players raised in the club - now there is only one. So we have to choose 22 players and three goalkeepers. We have to make a decision, which is very difficult."
