M. Sarri: "The whole team learned from the Kepa incident"

Maurizio Sarri claims that the team "healed" from the incident at the England League Cup final involving Kepa.

From the mentioned match, it was not London's "Chelsea" team's loss that stood out the most, but Kepa's refusal to be substituted. Immediately after the incident, it was said that it would mean either Kepa or M. Sarri's career end at the "Chelsea" club.

However, nothing of the sort happened - Kepa apologized for his behavior, and the team started steadily winning matches after the failure in the final.

"As everyone knows, personally for me, it was important to play a good final match against 'Man City'. A few weeks ago, we lost to them 0:6. However, in the final, the team showed that they can play at the same level as the opponents. It was a very important match that gave us confidence," said M. Sarri.

"Now we can say that Kepa's incident was a good thing for our whole group. In the last five matches, we won four times and played once in a draw with 'Man City'. Throughout these matches, we conceded only one goal. We are improving and doing it consistently," added the coach.

"Chelsea" will seek another victory this Sunday - they will face "Wolves" at their home.
