Since the beginning of this season, the "Chelsea" team led by Maurizio Sarri has returned the team to the top four of the "Premier" league and led them to the semi-finals of the Europa League.
Despite this, the Italian coach has received a fair amount of criticism from both fans and football experts, and reports in the media suggest that M. Sarri may return to the "Serie A" after the season.
However, as the upcoming Europa League semi-final approaches, the strategist of the "aristocrats" revealed that he would like to continue working in England.
"As I have said many times before, I want to stay at the "Chelsea" club. I like English football and the atmosphere in the stadiums. If I am allowed, I want to stay. My main goal at the moment is to continue working in England," M. Sarri said at the press conference.
It was announced on Wednesday that "Chelsea" will not be able to register new players in the next two transfer windows, but according to M. Sarri, this is not a problem.
"I enjoy working with young players, so this is not a problem at all. Every month I receive reports about the players we have on loan. We have more than 40 of them. Of course, we need to monitor which of them are ready, but at the moment I want to focus on the upcoming semi-final. We have two or three loaned players who are very interesting. We will have to decide if they already meet our level," the Italian added.
