"Hull City" coach Marco Silva says that his team must fight for the seriously injured Ryan Mason for the remainder of the season.
After a collision with Chelsea defender Gary Cahill, Mason lay on the field for almost 10 minutes, and it was later revealed in the hospital that he had a fractured skull.
Fortunately, the operation was successful, and the player is already recovering.
"From yesterday nothing has changed, but he is in good spirits," Silva said. "However, we must remain strong as a team, stay together and unite for Ryan Mason."
"We intend to visit him when we travel on Saturday (for Sunday's FA Cup match against Fulham). It is not easy for visitors to see him, but we will be there."
"I think it will not be easy to balance all things, as he was a really important player for the team. However, we need to continue our work in transfers. It is obvious that we are weak in midfield."
"It is not easy for our team, but we need to stay strong together, fight together and support Ryan."
"We have a good atmosphere, but at such moments we play for the fans, for ourselves, and of course, for Ryan."
"The reaction was fantastic, because it is important to support both his family and the player himself."
"At such moments, we must forget everything else and concentrate on him."
"Hull City" has already strengthened its lineup with Liverpool's Lazar Markovic and is also negotiating for Leon Bailey. However, the future of team leader Roberto Snodgrass is not clear.
