Long-time member of the Dutch national team and "Ajax" player Maarten Stekelenburg is not hanging up his football boots just yet. Amsterdam's "Ajax" officially announced on Friday that the 39-year-old goalkeeper has extended his contract with the team for another year. M. Stekelenburg played four matches for the Dutch national team at the European Championship last summer. In the Eredivisie championship this season, the goalkeeper had to come off the field 7 times. Throughout his career, M. Stekelenburg has also represented the teams of "Everton", "Roma", and "Fulham."
