„Barcelona“ team continues to engage in complex negotiations with goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen. The 28-year-old German does not oppose extending the contract with the Catalans and has even reduced his financial demands. „Goal“ reports that instead of his previous annual salary of 24 million euros, the player now wants to receive 18 million euros. Even with this amount, he would become the highest-paid goalkeeper on the planet, with only Lionel Messi ahead of him in the team in terms of salary. While „Barcelona“ is still considering their options, the player plans to stay in Catalonia at least until 2025. His current contract with the club is valid until the middle of 2022.
