Last season, 24-year-old midfielder Matas Vareika, who shone in the blue and white team, chose to play in the Armenian championship after his contract with the Kaunas district club ended.

The footballer from Jonava became a vice-champion this year with the "Hegelmann" club and also played in the FPRO LFF Cup final.

The midfielder arrived in the Kaunas district before the 2024 season from Vilnius "Žalgiris".

Last season, he became the team's top scorer, netting 10 goals. Matas also scored three more accurate shots in the LFF Cup matches.
