Wednesday was a day full of events at the club - the team was officially joined by the Montenegrin striker Mirko Vučinić and defender from Brazil Rodrigo Defendi, while the Argentine defender Leandro Cufré left for the Argentinian national team.
The former Serbian and Montenegrin youth team striker M. Vučinić is moving from the "Lecce" club, which played in a lower league, to "Roma" under a loan agreement, under which the Roma club will pay 3.3 million euros and give up half of the rights to the attacker Alessandro Tulli. In addition, "Roma" has the option to purchase the other half of the rights to the Montenegrin player for an additional 3.75 million at the end of the season.
The Italian club was also supplemented by the borrowed 20-year-old Brazilian Rodrigo Defendi, who played only a few matches for "Udinese" last year. Meanwhile, the 28-year-old Argentine L. Cufré, who also has Italian citizenship, was sold to the French "Monaco" for an undisclosed amount, which according to various sources, is around 4 million euros.
"Roma" also negotiated for the South Korean from "Tottenham", who was supposed to replace L. Cufré, but the player unexpectedly refused to move to Italy and justified his decision based on personal reasons. In order to finance the new acquisitions, the Roma club sold the Egyptian Mido to "Tottenham" and also prepares to acquire the Ghanaian national team defender Samuel Kuffour, with whom "Livorno" is closest to finalizing the deal.
