During the third stage of the Scottish Cup matches held on Sunday, the Lithuanian Edinburgh club "Hearts" was forced to concede to the "Hibernian" footballers.

Throughout the match, there was a fierce battle on the field, but with just seven minutes left until the end of the main match time, the ball ended up in the Edinburgh team's goal after a shot by David Wotherspoon, the captain of the "Hearts".

After the goal, the guests ran out of time to recover and the team of Lithuanian businessman Vladimir Romanov withdrew from the Scottish Cup competition. Another representative of Lithuania, Arvydas Novikovas, stayed on the field for 45 minutes and left the field at the coach's discretion after the first half.

In other Scottish Cup matches, the Glasgow "Rangers" club defeated the "Elgin City" footballers and advanced to the fourth stage of the competition.
