Madrid Derby: Z. Zidane sees equal chances for both teams, D. Simeone considers "Real" as favorites

Spanish football fans will enjoy a real celebration this weekend - the Madrid derby will take place at the "Santiago Bernabeu" stadium.

Tomorrow at 17 hours and 15 minutes Lithuanian time, Real Madrid will host Atletico at home. The "Whites" are in first position, but in case of failure they could lose the leader's position quickly, so an intriguing match is expected.

Before the upcoming derby, the senior coach of Real Zinedine Zidane does not see favorites here and claims that both teams have equal chances of winning.

"There are no favorites in tomorrow's match. We are focused on this match and hope it will be a beautiful battle. Atletico has been playing exceptionally well lately, doing a great job defensively.

Tomorrow we will try so that the opponents cannot play their game. We know how motivated and strong they are, but we are ready for this match. Until the end of the season, we still have many games to play, so what we have done so far doesn't mean anything. We must keep moving forward," Z. Zidane expressed his thoughts.

Diego Simeone, whose team in "La Liga" in the last five matches has won as many victories, considers Real as favorites, but they are not giving up without a fight at the "Santiago Bernabeu" Stadium.

"The current numbers and the position in the standings speak for themselves - Real are the favorites. We hope they will show a high tempo of play from the beginning of the match.

I would predict that the BBC trio will start the match and Isco will be alongside them. If they want to control the game and keep the ball longer, then we might see Casemiro," D. Simeone stated.

We would like to remind you that the first Madrid derby of this season ended with a 3-0 victory for Real at the "Vicente Calderon" stadium. All three goals were scored by Cristiano Ronaldo.
