It seems that Madrid's "Real" has already decided which candidate will strengthen the club in the upcoming winter transfer window.
Earlier, we wrote that the Madrid team decided to strengthen the defensive line in winter, with Christian Eriksen, Donny van de Beek, and Marc Roca named as the main candidates.
Today, as if agreed, both Madrid newspapers - AS and "Marca" - announce that the decision has already been made: "Real" will start negotiations in January for the acquisition of C. Eriksen, who has been on their radar for several years.
The 27-year-old Dane's contract with London's "Tottenham" expires next summer, but the "Lilywhites" are not willing to wait for another season and want to secure him in the closest transfer window.
It is believed that this is the scenario that the "Tottenham" club was waiting for, and they will immediately enter into negotiations with "Real". The Dane should not cost more than 25 million euros in January.
Madrid's "Real" wanted to strengthen the midfield line last summer, but no new players arrived in that position.
