"Real" Madrid is set to complete the deal for "Porto" defender Eder Militao this month.
Today celebrating his 21st birthday, the Brazilian arrived at "Porto" just last summer, but the defender has already proven his worth in just six months and attracted the attention of all the top clubs in Europe.
In addition to Real Madrid, two other clubs - Manchester United and Liverpool - are also interested in him. E. Militao's contract includes a release clause of 50 million euros, so clubs will not be able to acquire the player for less than this amount.
Sources in Spain and Brazil claim that the next stop in E. Militao's career is practically already known. Despite interest from Premier League clubs, the Brazilian is likely to become a Real Madrid player.
Real Madrid scouts have been closely monitoring the Brazilian and believe that he is a suitable center-back to strengthen the team. Real Madrid may announce the agreement reached as early as this January, but Militao will not arrive in Madrid until the end of the season.
Last summer, the Brazilian, who can play in the positions of center-back, full-back, and defensive midfielder, cost "Porto" 4 million euros. Currently, he is considered one of the most promising players in his position, along with Matthijs de Ligt.
