Ambitious club not hiding ambitions offered 35 million euros for "Palermo" star Javier Pastore, reports the newspaper AS.
The Andalusian team, which was bought by businessmen from Qatar last year, plans to spend up to 100 million euros on new players this summer and establish itself as the third most powerful team in Spain.
The 21-year-old Pastore demonstrated excellent sporting form last season, and "Palermo" executives recently hinted that they would consider selling him.
Other clubs interested in the player include "Roma", "Milan", "Barcelona", Madrid's "Real" and "Man Utd".
In the Spanish championship, "Malaga", coached by the famous Chilean Manuel Pellegrini, finished in 11th place, and hopes to break into one of the European cup competitions next season.
