On Monday, the final matches of the 35th round of the Spanish "La Liga" championship were played.
Sevilla's "Real Betis" hosted "Malaga," who will be relegated from the league. The underdogs of the championship could not stop the phenomenal Andalusian team, who played amazingly towards the end of the season, with a 1-2 loss.
The hosts were unpleasantly surprised in the 20th minute when the opponent's striker Youssef En-Nesyri scored for "Malaga." However, the visitors did not enjoy their lead for long - four minutes later, "Real Betis" equalized.
The winning goal came in the 73rd minute of the match. Three points to the hosts were brought by Fabian Ruiz's precise shot.
For the "Real Betis" team, this was already their seventh victory in the last eight matches of the "La Liga" championship. They were only stopped in the last round by "Atletico," with a goalless draw.
The Andalusians occupy the fifth position and still have theoretical chances to qualify for the Champions League, but "Valencia" will need to win at least once or play a draw twice.
