In the Africa Cup of Nations, the group stage has ended with the final matches in Group F. In the final Group F matches, Gambia defeated Tunisia 1-0. The winning goal in the final minutes of the match, during extra time, was scored by Ablie Jallow, taking away a valuable point from Tunisia. However, Tunisia made it to the next round as one of the strongest third-placed teams and will face Nigeria in the knockout stage. Gambia finished in second place in the group. In other Group F matches, Mali defeated Mauritania 2-0. With this win, Mali finished first in the group, with goals from Massadio Haidara and Ibrahima Kone.
