M.Allegri: my critics should seek treatment

"Juventus" coach Massimo Allegri triumphs.

His players silenced all critics as they impressively defeated Madrid's "Atletico" 3-0 and advanced to the Champions League quarterfinals.

After last night's match, the Italian said:

"We didn't look perfect, but we maintained concentration well. We took risks pushing forward because there was a lot of talk about the revenge match and we had 95 minutes to get the job done.

If C.Ronaldo had finished the Champions League season with just one goal to his name, it would have been really strange. The forward performed well, and his teammates supported him, the team's fans made a huge contribution," said M.Allegri.

The coach was asked if "Juventus" had become the undisputed favorites of the tournament, with PSG and Madrid's "Real" already out of the competition.

"No, we are just one of the contenders for the top spot."

He also had an answer for his critics: "That's their problem. What more could I have done? In five years we've already won almost five "Scudetto" titles, reached the Champions League final twice, won the Italian Cup tournament four times.

They need treatment, not me. In any case, criticism can also be a teaching tool or a mood booster."
