M.Allegri: The fight for the "Scudetto" is not over yet

The advantage of eleven points over the nearest pursuers in the "Serie A" championship is not a sufficient argument for Turin's "Juventus" coach Massimiliano Allegri to trust victory in the Italian championship.

On Monday, the "Bianconeri" footballers defeated "Sassuolo" with a score of 1-0, taking advantage of the stumble of the "Roma" team in the match against Verona's "Chievo" and extending the lead to 11 points in the eleven.

After the match, M. Allegri categorically denied journalists' claims about the end of the battle for the "Scudetto".

"Certainly not. We have a long way ahead, so we must remain calm and not lose stability. There is no rush, as we have a series of matches in the "Serie A", Champions League, and the Italian Cup ahead of us," the strategist noted.

M. Allegri also denied the often escalated claims in the press about the decreased physical form of the "Juventus" players.

"Statistically, our team always increases the pace of the game in the last 15 minutes. Due to injuries, it has been impossible to rotate defenders and midfielders properly since the beginning of the season," stated the Italian.

"I am happy about the recovered Simones Pepe, whom we can rely on when we want to play wider. Martin Caceres dropped out of the lineup, but Andrea Barzagli returned. I think we are moving in the right direction," noted M. Allegri.
