"Mallorca" returns to the top Spanish football league

In Sunny Mallorca - celebration: the very popular city team "Mallorca" returns to the highest division of Spanish football after a six-year break.

In the play-off final for promotion to the "La Liga" championship, "Mallorca" defeated La Coruna's "Deportivo" team with a score of 3:0, overturning a two-goal deficit after the first match.

"Mallorca" returns to the top Spanish league by overcoming their opponents with an aggregate score of 3:2.

The last time Mallorca's team competed in the "La Liga" championship was in the 2012-13 season. Since then, until now, "Mallorca" has been competing in the second and third divisions of the country.

Along with "Mallorca," direct tickets to the "La Liga" were secured by Pamplona's "Osasuna" and "Granada" teams who fought their way up.
