UEFA has announced that the Spanish club is banned from participating in next year's Europa League tournament.
This decision was made considering the fact that "Mallorca" does not meet its financial commitments, as the club has been experiencing a crisis lately.
"Mallorca" finished fifth in the last championship in the Spanish league, but if the team appeals against this UEFA decision and it is not accepted, their place will most likely go to the "Villarreal" team.
