Italy's "Serie A" league goalkeeper Tomo Danilevičiaus's club teammate has extended his contract with the Tuscan team for another four years and committed to defending its goal until 2011.
The goalkeeper of the Italian national team, who has extended his contract until 2011, has put an end to all talks that he will leave "Livorno" in January.
The 24-year-old player, whose previous contract was supposed to expire in June of this year, was strongly linked to the multiple "Serie A" champions AC Milan and the 2005 strongest European team Liverpool.
This contract extension for M. Amelia allows the "Livorno" team to keep the goalkeeper's services at least until the end of this season.
However, it seems that clubs will continue to show interest in this Italian in the future, so "Livorno" is currently ready to evaluate their goalkeeper for a lucrative amount of money.
Having played 18 rounds in the Italian top division, "Livorno" has 22 points in their tally and sits in 10th position.
