"Man City" and "Chelsea" celebrated victories, "Arsenal" failed to beat the "Hull City" team (VIDEO)

On Saturday in the English Premier League, the first seven matches of the eighth round were played after the national team break.

The first match took place at Etihad Stadium, where Manchester City clashed with the Tottenham team from London. Led by Sergio Aguero, the "citizens" celebrated a victory in a match full of opportunities with a score of 4-1.

From the very first minute, attacking football prevailed and neither team thought about closing up defensively. In the 13th minute, Sergio Aguero led the hosts ahead with a masterful shot.

However, the hosts did not celebrate for long, as the Spurs players took advantage of a mistake by Fernando in the middle of the field to equalize the score. Christian Eriksen scored after a pass from Roberto Soldado.

In the 20th minute, a different result was already displayed on the scoreboard - after a penalty earned by Frank Lampard, the same S. Aguero scored. Just 12 minutes later, the Argentine could have scored his third goal, but failed to convert another penalty.

In the second half, the fight continued and Tottenham could have equalized the score again in the 62nd minute, but Roberto Soldado's penalty was saved by the shining Joe Hart throughout the match.

After this episode, Tottenham began to crumble and after five minutes, Federico Fazio was sent off the field for a foul in the penalty area.

Manchester City's striker S. Aguero took advantage of this and once again did not leave any chances to Hugo Lloris from the penalty spot. The same S. Aguero scored the final goal in this match, marking the 75th minute and the fourth time in the match.

After the victory, Manchester City approached the leader Chelsea club by 2 points, but the team led by Jose Mourinho will fight for victory today.

In other matches, Chelsea beat Crystal Palace 2-1, while Arsenal could not defeat Hull City in front of their own fans and played a draw.
