Finally, in the 35th minute, the first goal of the match was scored - after a great pass from Dominic Calverto-Lewin, Wayne Rooney sent the ball into the "Man City" goal with his left foot.
The "Cityzens" immediately tried to retaliate after the painful blow, but in the 44th minute the situation became even more complicated - Kyle Walker received two yellow cards in a matter of minutes and was sent off the field.
In the second half, "Man City" did not stop trying to equalize after letting a goal in. "Everton" had a numeric advantage, but did not create any dangerous attacks.
After many attempts, in the 82nd minute, the hosts finally managed to beat Jack Pickford - Raheem Sterling, who appeared on the pitch after a substitution, scored a great goal in the 82nd minute.
During the remaining time, "Man City" pressed on, and in the 88th minute evened out the forces on the field when Morgan Schneiderlin also received his second yellow card.
Nevertheless, despite numerous attempts, "Man City" failed to score the winning goal and the teams shared a point.
