On Tuesday, the sixteenth round of the English League Cup ("Capital One Cup") took place, with eight matches played.
Country's vice-champion "Manchester City" advanced to the next stage, beating "Sunderland" 4-1 away. Sergio Aguero opened the scoring, and later, in the 25th minute, Kevin De Bruyne added another goal.
In the 33rd minute, Vito Mannone scored an own goal, and the fourth accurate strike was reached in the 36th minute of the match. Raheem Sterling was the author of this goal. At the end of the meeting, the hosts managed to reduce the deficit, but it did not save them from defeat.
