On Tuesday evening, five quarter-final matches were played in the English League Cup.
The "Manchester City" team confidently advanced to the quarter-finals. Pep Guardiola's players defeated the "Southampton" team 3-1, which had suffered a real humiliation against "Leicester" just last Friday.
Nicolas Otamendi and Sergio Aguero, who scored a double, led the winners to victory. Jack Stephens scored a consolation goal for the "Saints" in the 75th minute.
