"Man City" and PSG in a duel - high-scoring draw, "Wolfsburg" surprised "Real" (VIDEO)

On Wednesday evening, two more quarter-final matches were played in the UEFA Champions League.

An intriguing match took place in the capital of France, where Paris Saint-Germain faced Manchester City. After a tough and high-scoring match, Manuel Pellegrini's team returned to England with a positive result - a 2-2 draw.

Manchester City players tried to test the referee at the start of the match. In their first attempt, they managed to avoid a penalty kick, which was demanded by the entire PSG team, but in the 14th minute Milorad Mažič blew the whistle and provided a great opportunity to the Parisian team.

Zlatan Ibrahimović stood at the penalty spot, but his shot into the left corner of the goal was poor and Joe Hart saved his goal.

In the 38th minute, PSG was punished for all the wasted opportunities. Manchester City players quickly organized an attack and Kevin De Bruyne simply pierced the opponent's goalkeeper.

Manchester City fans cheered, but incredibly, just three minutes later Fernando clumsily allowed Zlatan Ibrahimović to redeem himself. The forward suddenly took the ball and shot into the empty goal - 1:1.

After the break, PSG turned the situation around and greatly disappointed the Manchester City team. In the 60th minute, A. Rabiot found himself in the midst of the French attack and put his team ahead - 2:1. However, the English club did not intend to give up and in the 72nd minute Fernandinho equalized - 2:2.

Fans did not see any more goals, so all the drama will shift to England.

In the next match, "Wolfsburg" and Real Madrid players clashed with each other. Playing in front of their own fans, the "Wolves" created a real sensation by defeating the 2014 tournament champions with a score of 2-0.

The rivals from Madrid started the match more actively. Real Madrid had already sent the ball into the opponent's goal right at the beginning of the match, but the linesman flagged Cristiano Ronaldo offside.

Zinedine Zidane's players dominated possession, but in the 18th minute, a somewhat unexpected penalty was awarded for a foul on Andre Schurrle. Ricardo Rodriguez successfully converted the penalty kick and broke Keylor Navas' "dry" match streak.

Real Madrid seemed confused after conceding the goal. Later, the "Whites" tried to equalize the score, but in the 25th minute, they conceded another goal after a counter-attack, which dealt a particularly painful blow to the Spanish vice-champions. Despite having several opportunities during the remaining first half, the score remained 2-0 in favor of the hosts.

In the second half, Real Madrid struggled, while the Wolfsburg defense was impenetrable. The "Wolves" will travel to Madrid with a two-goal advantage.
