Strategist Roberto Mancini confirmed that he is interested in the possibility of acquiring London star Robin van Persie.
However, the Italian admitted that he does not have high hopes of acquiring the Netherlands national team striker who has already scored 32 goals this season.
"We are interested in all good players. It would be hard to find a good club that does not have Van Persie in mind," Mancini said. "He is a fantastic striker, but I think he will stay at Arsenal."
In recent years, Man City has acquired several players from Arsenal, including Samir Nasri, Gael Clichy, Kolo Toure, Emmanuel Adebayor.
"Currently, Van Persie is among the best strikers in the world along with Leo Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Sergio Aguero, and Mario Balotelli. We will be active if he expresses a desire to leave," the strategist added.
