On Thursday, in the English "Premier League", the postponed 28th round match took place.
At the "Emirates" stadium, London "Arsenal" clashed with "Manchester City". The "Gunners" did not resist their opponents once again - Pep Guardiola's pupils celebrated victory with a score of 3-0.
"City" showed superiority from the very beginning of the match. The "Gunners" tried to control the ball, but every "Citizens'" attack was a threat to Petr Cech's goal.
The first goal did not take long to arrive - Bernardo Silva received an excellent pass from Leroy Sane and led the guests ahead with a beautiful shot out of Manchester.
In the 28th minute, another goal was scored when Sergio Aguero made a sharp pass in the penalty area, and David Silva, escaping from the opponents, increased the visitors' lead to two goals with a precise shot.
However, "Arsenal's" problems did not end there - in the 33rd minute the opponents' evening was completed hopelessly by L. Sane, who scored during a very fast attack.
In the second half, the "Gunners" had a perfect opportunity to reduce the deficit, but Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang failed to score from the penalty spot - Ederson saved the striker's shot.
There were no major surprises in the remaining time and "Man City" celebrated a 3-0 victory - with this result the "Citizens" also triumphed on Sunday, when they secured the league cup trophies.
"Man City" have 75 points in their account, and they are still 16 points ahead of their closest pursuers. "Arsenal", marching in sixth position, already lags behind the fourth position by 10 points.
