During the last transfer window, "Manchester City" acquired Ruben Dias extended his contract with the club just a year later. The Manchester club officially announced that the Portuguese signed a new contract that will be valid until 2027. This contract will come with a higher salary than before. Just a year ago, R. Dias joined "Manchester City" for 68 million euros from the Lisbon "Benfica" club. Last season, the Portuguese was one of the main reasons why "Manchester City" had such a successful season. With R. Dias' arrival, the team's defense became much more solid and conceded fewer goals, and also last year the center-back was voted as the best player of the Premier League season by football journalists. Ruben Dias was also recognized as the best defender of the UEFA Champions League last season.
