"Man City" does not intend to stop - offers a record sum for "Benfica" goalkeeper (VIDEO)

Radical changes are accumulating as the "Man City" team is pushing the boundaries of yet another famous footballer.

"Goal" reports that the "cityzens" are determined to splash an incredible sum for Lisbon's "Benfica" goalkeeper Ederson.

Coach Josep Guardiola hopes that negotiations will be crowned with success and the Brazilian, who is already 23, will arrive in England right after Sunday's Portuguese Cup final.

Ederson is being offered as much as 35 million pounds sterling, surpassing the world goalkeeper transfer record set in 2001, when the "Juventus" team did not spare 33 million pounds sterling for the legendary Gianluigi Buffon.

However, the entire sum will not go to "Benfica" - the Portuguese only own half of the rights to the talented player. The other part is in the hands of "Rio Ave" and football agency "Gestifute".
