Representatives reported earning £16.8 million in untaxed profit for the last fiscal half-year (until November).

This sum also includes £21 million that the club received by selling Shaun Wright-Phillips to London's Chelsea club last summer. This significant additional financial boost helped reduce Man City's declared debt of £57 million.

It is estimated that the club's management will decide to allocate £5 million to the repayment of short-term loans. The report also notes that Man City managed to cut player salaries by £1 million and increase revenue by 2%.

It is worth mentioning that in January, Robbie Fowler, who used to earn £35,000 a week, returned to Liverpool, so Man City continues to reduce expenses for players. Additionally, this year the club is successfully competing in the FA Cup, which will undoubtedly have a positive impact on its budget.
