"Man City" goalkeeper C. Pantilimon will play for "Sunderland" team next season

"Manchester City" will part ways with backup goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon on July 1, who will continue his career at another English "Premier" League team, "Sunderland". The 27-year-old Romanian will join the "Black Cats" for free, and has signed a four-year contract with the "Sunderland" club. "It is a great privilege to join a team like 'Sunderland'. This club has an amazing history, traditions, and of course, passionate fans," the goalkeeper officially told the new club's website. C.Pantilimon became the third "Sunderland" acquisition this summer. Earlier, they acquired Jordi Gomez and Billy Jones. The Romanian national team player will have to compete for a starting position with Vito Mannone next season. The goalkeeper has been playing for the "City" team since 2011.
