„Man City“ team is nearing an important goal accomplishment. The website „Goal“ reports that the Premier League champions will shake up the market by acquiring Birmingham's „Aston Villa“ midfielder Jack Grealish. The deal is likely to be completed in the coming days. The 25-year-old Englishman will cost „City“ 100 million pounds and will become the country's record signing. So far, the most expensive player in a British club was „Man Utd“ midfielder Paul Pogba, for whom Turin's „Juventus“ received 89 million pounds. The record for a player bought by „Man City“ is the 62 million pounds paid last year for Lisbon's „Benfica“ defender Ruben Dias.
