"Man City" money is flowing freely: "Monaco" agrees to sell B. Mendy

"Manchester City" will soon receive another newcomer in the defender position for impressive money.

"The Guardian" reports that Pep Guardiola's led "City" have reached an agreement with "Monaco" for the purchase of 23-year-old Benjamin Mendy.

The left-back defender was one of the main targets of "Man City" this summer, but finalizing the negotiations was hindered by the final transfer fee. "City" hoped to acquire the defender for £40 million, but the French champions were reluctant to even discuss.

It seems that the next offer from "Man City" was acceptable to the "Monaco" club. It is said that B. Mendy will arrive in Manchester in the coming days and complete the transfer, which will amount to £54 million.

Not long ago, "City" acquired another full-back for a similar amount (£50 million) - Kyle Walker. It is also almost certain that Madrid's "Real" full-back Danilo will arrive at "Man City" for £30 million.

If all deals are confirmed, "Man City" will have spent an impressive £220 million this summer.
