Reports have appeared in English newspapers that the club is preparing for a striker exchange, which is expected to take place this summer.

The Guardian reports that representatives of Manchester City have started negotiations with an Italian club, where a Lithuanian player plays, for a possible transfer of the player to the English club and the Italian U-21 national team. It is claimed that the player, who has already scored 11 goals this season, is valued at 26 million litas.
Meanwhile, another English newspaper, The Sun, claims that Spanish international midfielder Javier De Pedro, aged 30, will sign a contract with the Manchester club.
