"Man City" received a fine, but managed to avoid a ban on buying new players

FIFA announced on Tuesday that the "Manchester City" club has been fined 315 thousand pounds sterling for violations in acquiring underage players. In January of this year, another English team - London's "Chelsea" - was fined for similar offenses, but the "aristocrats" not only received a higher financial penalty - 460 thousand pounds sterling, but also cannot buy new footballers for one year. "Man City" avoided the ban on acquiring new players, and FIFA justified this decision by the fact that the English champions admitted their guilt and took full responsibility. However, the problems for the "cityzens" may not end there, as FIFA and UEFA are currently investigating whether the club has violated the FFP (Financial Fair Play) rules.
