"Manchester City" talent Douglas Luiz will spend the upcoming season on loan at "Girona" on loan terms.
The Brazilian youth national team member moved to England from "Vasco da Gama" in mid-July for 10 million pounds sterling, but even that amount does not mean that he is ready to play in the main "City" team.
However, his new team is capable, as they finished second in the "Segunda" division last year and will compete in the "La Liga" championship this year.
"Girona" will provide Douglas with an ideal opportunity to play at the highest level of European football," said "Man City" football director Txiki Begiristain.
"We can't wait to watch him improve in the "La Liga" championship and wish him all the best for the upcoming season."
The same Spanish club has also loaned "City" players Aleix Garcia and Pablo Maffeo.
