On Saturday, eight matches of the 34th round of the English Premier League were played.
The first match took place at "St Mary's" stadium, where the "Southampton" team, supported by their fans, clashed with London's "Tottenham". The hosts took the lead twice, but the match ended in a 2-2 draw.
In the 29th minute, Graziano Pelle put "Southampton" ahead, but at the end of the first half Erik Lamela equalized the score. In the 65th minute, G.Pelle once again put the hosts in front, but they couldn't keep the lead and Nacer Chadli's goal five minutes later decided the outcome of the match.
After the draw, the neighbors on the league table almost lost their chances to fight for a spot in the UEFA Champions League.
In other matches, "Liverpool" players also lost points. Brendan Rodgers' team shared points with "West Brom" in a goalless draw, losing hope to reach the top four.
Other matches ended with victories for "Leicester", "Hull City" and "Swansea". Matches between QPR - "West Ham" and "Stoke" - "Sunderland" ended in draws.
