On Saturday, the eighth match of the new season was played in the English Premier League.
Manchester City faced the league newcomer Brighton in the first round. The newcomers playing at home could not resist the "citizens" - they lost by a score of 0-2.
In the first half, Man City dominated the field and created many dangerous opportunities, but the hosts managed to withstand the pressure of their opponents and the score remained 0-0 after the first 45 minutes.
In the second half, the "citizens" continued to show superiority, and eventually the first goals were scored.
In the 70th minute, Sergio Aguero scored the first goal of the season for Man City after a pass from David Silva.
The final point was put just five minutes later - Lewis Dunk's own goal guaranteed victory for the Man City team.
