On Saturday, seven matches of the 5th round of the English Premier League were played.
The first match took place in London, where the local Crystal Palace clashed with Southampton. Crystal Palace, led by Roy Hodgson, failed to secure any points as the 'Saints' defeated the hosts 1-0.
The winning goal was scored at the beginning of the match - in the 6th minute, Steven Davis found the opponent's net.
Crystal Palace continues to show tragic form in England - having not won a point and not yet scored a goal. Meanwhile, Southampton temporarily rose to fifth place.
In other matches, Manchester City humiliated Watford. Pep Guardiola's players defeated their opponents 6-0 at their own stadium.
The winners were distinguished by Sergio Aguero, who scored three goals. After that, 'Citizens' added goals by Nicolas Otamendi, Raheem Sterling, and Gabriel Jesus.
Liverpool's players had a much harder time, as they failed to beat Burnley at home. Jurgen Klopp's players played to a 1-1 draw.
In the 27th minute, Burnley took the lead, but just three minutes later Mohamed Salah responded with a goal. However, neither team managed to score another winning goal for the rest of the match.
The remaining matches ended in draws between Huddersfield-Leicester and West Brom-West Ham, while Newcastle celebrated a victory against Stoke City.
