At 15:30 in the English Premier League, two more matches of the second round were played.
The title-defending Manchester City players sent Huddersfield to another knockdown at home. Led by Sergio Aguero, the City players crushed their opponents with a score of 6-1.
From the beginning of the match, Pep Guardiola's pupils took the initiative and started their goal show in the 25th minute.
Sergio Aguero scored the first goal when he received an impressive pass from his goalkeeper Ederson. A few minutes later, the visitors conceded another goal - this time Gabriel Jesus hit the target accurately.
By the 35th minute, S. Aguero had already added two more goals to his tally. At the end of the first half, Huddersfield narrowed the gap, but the situation goal did not save them.
In the second half, Man City scored three more goals. In the 48th minute, David Silva scored a beautiful goal after a penalty, in the 75th minute S. Aguero completed the hat-trick, and the opponents scored another goal at the end of the match.
For Man City, this was the second consecutive victory. Meanwhile, Huddersfield suffered another defeat and are at the bottom of the table.
In other matches, Watford secured another victory. They scored three goals against Burnley and triumphed with a scoreline of 3-1.
