"Manchester United" attack conductor Shinji Kagawa has been awarded the title of the best Asian footballer playing outside of Asia by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The 23-year-old player, before moving to "Man Utd", helped Borussia Dortmund in the German championship to surpass Bayern Munich and successfully finish the season with the German Cup. In the voting, Kagawa surpassed Japan's Yuto Nagatomo, a defender for Inter Milan, and Australian Mark Schwarzer, a goalkeeper for Fulham in London.
