Yesterday, "Manchester United" club demonstrated excellent defense in the UEFA Europa League final and became the tournament champion by defeating Amsterdam "Ajax" with a score of 2-0.
This achievement is exceptional not only because the "Red Devils" won the trophy and will play in the Champions League next season. It will be recorded in both the club and the entire history of English football.
Firstly, "Man United" became only the fifth club to win all three major continental tournaments - the Champions League, Europa League, and the now-defunct Cup Winners' Cup. In the Europa League, it was the first triumph for the "Red Devils."
The "Red Devils" won the Cup Winners' Cup back in 1991, and they first won the Champions League in the 1967-1968 season. They repeated this success in 1999 and 2008.
The other four teams that have won all three titles are Amsterdam "Ajax," Munich "Bayern," Turin "Juventus," and London "Chelsea."

Furthermore, yesterday's triumph is also significant for England, as "Man United" has become the most decorated club in England.
Until now, it had won 44 significant trophies together with "Liverpool," but the Europa League trophy was already its 45th.
Behind these clubs, London "Arsenal" steps with 29 titles, London "Chelsea" with 23, and Birmingham "Aston Villa" with 21.
