The "Red Devils" won the Cup Winners' Cup back in 1991, and they first won the Champions League in the 1967-1968 season. They repeated this success in 1999 and 2008.

Furthermore, yesterday's triumph is also significant for England, as "Man United" has become the most decorated club in England.
Until now, it had won 44 significant trophies together with "Liverpool," but the Europa League trophy was already its 45th.
