On Monday late evening the penultimate FA Cup quarter-final matches were played.
In the fourth tier of the English football league, "Shrewsbury Town" clashed with "Manchester United" at their home ground. The most powerful team value-wise, the "Red Devils", easily progressed to the next round.
The first goal for the visitors from Manchester was scored by defender Chris Smalling, and at the end of the first half, Juan Mata's shot ensured the advantage for the "Red Devils".
Louis van Gaal's proteges dominated the entire match with the ball and did not allow the hosts to create any dangerous opportunities. The final point was set in the 61st minute, when Jesse Lingard, who has shown his full potential this season in the "Man Utd" team, scored after a pass from Ander Herrera.
In the quarter-finals of the FA Cup, "Manchester United" will face London's "West Ham".
