England's football giants have turned their attention to one of the most promising Spanish left-backs, Junior Firpo.
The 22-year-old defender from Sevilla's "Real Betis" has caught the interest of both "Manchester United" and "Liverpool" clubs. Jurgen Klopp's team is considered the favorite, but "Man Utd" is not giving up hope.
Prior to the interest from English clubs, J. Firpo was linked with a move to Madrid's "Real" club, but the "white team" chose Frenchman Ferland Mendy instead.
The defender's contract with "Real Betis" includes a release clause of 50 million euros.
J. Klopp wants to create more competition for Andrew Robertson, as Alberto Moreno will also leave the team this summer.
J. Firpo scored three goals and provided five assists in 29 matches last season.
