On Tuesday, the quarterfinal stage of the English League Cup kicked off.

"Manchester United" advanced to the semifinals by defeating "Charlton" footballers at home with a score of 3:0.

The hosts were brought ahead by Antony in the 21st minute.

"Newcastle United" footballers also advanced to the semifinals, taking care of "Leicester City" at home with a score of 2:0.

The winners scored goals through Dan Burn and Joelinton.
