Bilbao "Athletic" has extended the contract with the country's forward Inaki Williams until 2021, with a buy-out clause now increased to 50 million euros.
This news will certainly not be welcomed by "Manchester United" and London's "Tottenham," who were interested in acquiring the Spaniard during this transfer window.
The 21-year-old footballer broke into the main "Athletic" team last season, scoring 13 goals in 18 matches while representing the reserves. In 2015, he already featured in the starting lineup of the team in the Spanish Cup final against "Barcelona."
This season, Williams is also performing well for the Basque club - in 15 matches played, he has scored six goals.
