"Man Utd" coach Solskjaer named best Premier League manager of the month

"Manchester United" team, inspired by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after Jose Mourinho's dismissal, became the best Premier League coach in England in January. The 45-year-old Norwegian took charge of the "Man Utd" team on December 19. Since then, Solskjaer's "Red Devils" have not experienced any failures and only once dropped points in a match against "Burnley." In January, "Man Utd" won three out of four matches and drew once. Out of a possible 12 points, they secured 10. "This award means only one thing - we were the best team of the month. Both the coaching staff and the players did a great job," the manager said after receiving the award. "We want to continue winning matches and climbing up the league table. This is just the beginning. It helped me to know this club from the inside. When I arrived here, I also met two fantastic coaches - McKenna and Carrick. Emiliano Alvarez works with the best goalkeeper on the planet, and having Phelan in my coaching staff was also a huge pleasure," added Solskjaer. The "Man Utd" team will face London's "Fulham," fighting for survival in the league, this Saturday. Solskjaer beat Sean Dyche of "Burnley" and Ralph Hasenhuttl of "Southampton" in the Coach of the Month awards for January. The Player of the Month in January also went to a "Manchester United" representative - Marcus Rashford, who scored three goals in four matches, beating out Victor Lindelof, Tom Heaton, Joshua King, Alexandre Lacazette, and James Ward-Prowse in the race for the prize.
